The Narrabri Gas Project Community Consultative Committee (CCC) generally meets monthly and includes representatives from government, key industry and community organisations and Santos.
It is chaired by NSW Land and Water Commissioner, Mr Jock Laurie and was first convened in December, 2014.
The CCC’s role is to identify issues of community concern and to help facilitate the distribution of information about Santos’ work and plans back to the community.

Prior to the establishment of the current CCC in 2014 under the direction of the Department of Resources and Energy, Santos had set up Community Consultative Committees in both Narrabri and the Upper Hunter.
As Santos is currently focussed on plans to develop the Narrabri Gas Project, the Upper Hunter CCC no longer meets regularly.
