community-sponsorship

Santos has provided long-term sponsorship of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service

Applicants are invited to apply for Santos sponsorship through the portal on the Santos website: www.santos.com/santos-in-the-community/

Santos is an Australian oil and gas company with a history of developing strong relationships with the communities in which we operate and proudly support community groups to ensure the benefits of our work flow to our local community. Over the past 10 years Santos has invested more than $200 million in local community sponsorships and programs in the areas where we operate.

A fair and rigorous process will be applied to the selection of our sponsorships and community partners, based on our three Guiding Principles and five Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillars. We encourage you to read the selection criteria on our website prior to making your application. Applications that do not meet the criteria will not be successful.

Assessment Criteria
  • Guiding Principles – Your sponsorship must align with our Guiding Principles which determine whether your proposal has a ‘strategic fit’ with the Santos brand and business. You can read more about our Guiding Principles here.
  • CSR Pillars – Corporate Social Responsibility ‘pillars’ define the key categories we will support. Sponsorships must align with one or more of the pillars.  These pillars are Environment and Climate Change, Regional Communities, Training and Education, Healthy Living, and Indigenous. Read more about our pillars here.
