Santos’ Vesna Rendulic and Jason Elms visited the Waa Historical Society

Santos' Vesna Rendulic and Jason Elms visited the Namoi Echo Museum in Wee Waa run by the local Historical Society.

Santos’ Vesna Rendulic and Jason Elms visited the Namoi Echo Museum in Wee Waa to present a support donation to the local Historical Society.

Vesna Rendulic and Jason Elms from our community and land access team in Narrabri recently visited the Namoi Echo Museum at Wee Waa.  Santos is proud to contribute to the preservation of the region’s history by supporting the Museum.

The Museum houses a collection of machinery, documents and other items pertaining to the history and culture of the Wee Waa district and provides family research from its extensive archives.

The museum receives no government grants. It relies on fundraising and donations to maintain the exhibits and on the dedication of the Wee Waa Historical Society volunteers, who run the Museum.

A big thank you to the Society volunteers, who not only hosted our visit, but put on a delicious morning tea of scones and what must have been the fluffiest ginger sponge in the Shire!
