We’ve continued our support of the Narrabri Men’s Shed with the handover of a ute for use by members.
The single-cab Toyota Hilux was a surplus vehicle that the Santos operations team had re-registered yesterday in preparation for this morning’s presentation.
Bill Wood and David Nairn from the Santos’ Narrabri Operations handed over the keys to President Gordon Cain and then enjoyed morning tea with the members.
Narrabri Men’s Shed was established in 2013 with help from local businesses, including Santos, as a place local men can get together and work on various worthwhile projects.
The vehicle will assist the members to transport materials and carry out projects in the local area.
Santos was also able to make a similar vehicle donation to local community organisation, Friendly Faces, Helping Hands, last year.
