The Santos’ sponsored Narrabri Blue Boars rugby team held on for a hard-fought 22-20 victory over the Tamworth Pirates in the 1st Grade Major Semi-Final. Santos hosted more than 200 staff and guests at the match and a great time was had by all.
The Grand Final will be played on Saturday 13th September, with Narrabri hosting the match for the first time since 1982-3. Although runners up last year, it’s been ten years since Narrabri won the Grand Final in 2004 and was awarded joint premiers with Moree. The Blue Boars Grand Final opponent will be the winner of this weekend’s final between the Pirates and Moree.
